Our History

In the early ‘90’s a young engineer from Kyiv, Ukraine by the name of Igor Shkarovsky immigrated to the United States shortly after the fall of the Soviet Union.

After settling with his family in the Chicago suburbs and working for various companies that specialized in sheet metal fabrication, Igor discovered that there was an unmet customer need - quick turnaround, flexibility and agility in an industry that was better known for its long lead times, inflexible processes and overall rigidity. After a while Igor decided to set out on his own in a pursuit of his version of the American Dream - creating a one-stop-shop where the client’s engineers and his own product development team could identify time-sensitive solutions for their design and prototype needs. And so, Faspro Technologies was born in 1995. Initially specializing in rapid prototyping, the company’s capabilities have grown to encompass chemical etching, stamping, assembly operations, and laser cutting. In the recent years machining services have been expanded along with an extensive investment in advanced equipment.
Faspro Technologies is located in Arlington Heights, IL, a northwest suburb of Chicago, where it continues to grow and serve a customer base in the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
