Project Manager

The Project Manager will act as a technical/engineering representative and will interact with customers to determine the viability of the incoming projects. Provide customer support through out the life of the project. Direct responsibilities will include:

  • Developing manufacturing processes to accurately quote customer projects
  • Resolving manufacturability issues and developing BOM and Routing required for production
  • Managing customer orders from start to finish while assuring adherence to cost, timing, and budgetary targets
  • Selecting and managing outside vendors for additional processing
  • Make/Buy decision analysis
  • Maintaining performance reports based on KPI targets
  • Perform “time study” analysis as needed to verify rates for quoting

Ideal candidate will posses the following skills:

  • Project Management and strong reporting abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
  • Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes
  • Experience in direct customer support roles
  • Strong presentation and communications skills
  • Versed in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
  • Must have an ambitiously proactive background and must be eager to work and learn
  • Maintains high level of integrity, honesty and credibility with internal and external customers
  • Candidates must be a US citizen or provide proof of legality to work in the US
  • Must be able to pass extensive background check

Educational credentials:

  • Associates Degree in Mechanical Design, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Metal Working or Tool & Die (or equivalent major) is a minimum requirement.
