Project Management Support & Customer Service
Every project you place with Faspro Technologies will be coordinated with one of our expert Project Managers. Experienced, knowledgeable and committed to making each of your applications a total success, our project managers are the front line for your project and the backbone of Faspro’s service. Our experienced account management team provides further support for quoting needs, order processing, pricing and at times direct technical consulting as may be required.
If your project requires additional contract services, our Project Management team often takes on the challenges of sourcing, logistics and so on for our customers so they can issue a single purchase order to Faspro and get the services listed below to complete their project with a single point of contact and accountability.
Established Contract Services Include:
When we contract with one of our partners to fulfill a project requirement, lead times are going to be impacted. This is mostly due to the scheduled project workload and tooling design/build lead times (if required). Regardless, the benefit to you, our customer, is that we will manage the full project, minimize your internal paperwork and approval processes and take responsibility for the entire job, regardless of what we do internally or what we may send out for additional process support.
Our partners are all located locally in the Chicagoland area. We are fortunate that here in the Midwest there is still a strong manufacturing base of specialty and niche contract service providers who all pride themselves (as we do) that we are able to provide the best quality at competitive pricing while achieving “Made in America” goals. Thus, employing our friends and neighbors and supporting our local communities in the process.
Water Jet Cutting
Water jet cutting is one of the most versatile cutting processes around. Well suited for high-performance metal cutting, water jet technology creates a clean, burr-free cut that does not require secondary finishing and does not leave a heat-affected zone. Nearly every type of cut is possible, from rapid hole drilling to detailed cuts for all applications. Depending on the material, thickness, quantity and lead time, we may determine this is a more economical method to create the blanks that we would then form in our shop.
Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a highly accurate method of part production. Wire EDM technology is essential for higher tolerance parts and repeatable tooling. This is another blanking process we may select if it is deemed more economical for our customer based on material, thickness, quantity and lead time requirements.
Electroplating and Anodizing
For more elaborate electroplating needs, or production volume requirements, we partner with select Chicagoland suppliers to extend our capabilities in these processes. If you need aluminum anodizing after we fabricate the parts, we can take care of that for you as well.
Plastic Injection Molding
Faspro will take on your needs for plastic if the part requires overmolding, insert molding, or assembly of metal components that we would manufacture in house. We have experienced injection molding expertise in house that can direct the project, obtain quotes for both the mold design/build needs and the molding of the parts. Our partners provide us with “first article inspection” per your requirements and approval.
